Queer Circuits: Welcome

MAY 2021 UPDATE!

After nearly 2 years of weekly Queer circuits, we had our final sessions on 23rd and 30th May 2021, as QC trainers Kole and I will be transitioning onto new projects that will keep each us moving in new and exciting directions.

I'm currently holding this page proudly to show what is possible with some love, persistence, teamwork, and a basketball court! I am currently working away on Untitled Fitness projects and will be back for group training soon. Please watch this space for news and updates!

Queer Circuits: Testimonials

I hadn't thought much about safe spaces in relation to exercise until I went to Queer Circuits and realized that's because I'd never been in one. I feel like I don't have to explain myself there, I can relax and let my guard down. I've also never felt more motivated in a group class and I think that's down to being relaxed and having fun when you've reached your fitness boundaries, then pushing past them, it's very life affirming and positive.

Keep Connected

Share Feedback and catch Updates

Queer Circuits started in September 2019 with Kole and Sheldon aspiring to create a class that prioritises the wellbeing of LGBTQIA+ people. As Taurean, non-binary trainers the duo are committed to make queer people feel accepted and ok in wellness spaces. QC has been a fun and enriching experience for community members to meet and start something new with movement, develop skills, make gym buddies, build strength and confidence all in the same space.

The trainers combined experience and specialisms in long distanced running, strength & conditioning has allowed them to deliver over 70 workouts to a community of different abilities, experience levels and body types. In order to keep training progressive and accountable, Queer Circuits keep connected with a dedicated whatsapp group and email list. This is a great place where the group can share valuable feedback that makes circuits class fun and effective, as well as catch session updates.

Lockdown measures has now opened up our exploration of online Zoom training, live IG workouts and mobility workshops (Queer Mobility) in response to the groups demands.
